The owners of an outdoor tiled swimming pool in the village of Wrotham, Kent were unable to use their pool due to a serious leak. They wanted their pool refurbished in time for the warm weather and to be able to take in the views of the North Downs while relaxing in their pool.

The Pure Blue team were called to establish the cause of the leak. This involved testing all pipework before carrying out a dye test, which revealed a structural fault in their pool’s construction.

The solution was a new reinforced liner, which was welded on site. This involved replacing existing fittings, including the skimmer, inlets and main drains with fittings compatible with the new liner. All of which needed to be connected to the existing pipework.

As part of the refurbishment, the client had a safety cover, which was damaged, so the Pure Blue team fitted new parts to ensure the cover functioned as it should. The finished result was a beautiful liner pool ready for the family to enjoy using for the summer.
